Livingston

After we left the Finca, we rode the bus to Rio Dulce, then took a boat, in the pouring rain, to Livingston. Livingston is a town that can only be reached by boat. It's a quaint little village, quite a contrast to the busy sea-port of Puerto Barrios, which is down the coast. By this time in our trip we were getting short on time, so we were only able to spend one evening and the next morning in the town.

That morning I rented a boat to explore some of the coast. With Alberto the guide, I went and visited a lovely water fall and we travelled down a jungle river.
