From April 15th - April 23rd, 1999, my friend Elisabeth and I visited the country of Guatemala. Why did we go there? Mainly because that is where we could get the airplane tickets for the dates that we were free. It was a wonderful visit and worth while trip. While there we visited four areas of the country, starting with the Mayan ruins of Tikal.
