On the last full day of our trip we travelled to the city of Chichicastenango for their twice weekly market. Above is a picture of one of the weavers' stalls we visited. If you plan to visit any of the markets in Guatemala, plan on haggling. Elisabeth, who is very skilled at it, got hundreds of quetzels knocked off the prices. We both spent far too much money that day. The picture to the left shows just some of the bags of stuff we bought. We also visited the Santo Thomas Church, pictured right, before sadly heading back to America.
